Cox's Bazar Palli Bidyut Samity (PBS) has published a job circular seeking applications from qualified candidates to recruit manpower in three positions - Data Entry Operator, Driver, and Office Assistant. The government agency will give eight people jobs in the positions on a permanent basis.

Position - Date Entry Operator
A total of five people will be appointed in this position reserved for women. The candidate's maximum age limit is 30 years on August 24, 2022, but the same is relaxable up to 32 years for the children of freedom fighters.
According to the salary structure, 2016 of Palli Bidyut Samity, the salary scale for this position is from Tk 18,300 to Tk 46,240. Besides, house rent, medical allowance, and other allowances will be given.
Candidate must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or its equivalent examinations and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent exams having at least second division or at least CGPA 2.25 out of 4 or GPA 2.50 out of 5. Her minimum typing speed per minute must be 20 words in Bengali and 30 in English.
Position - Driver
One person will be recruited in this position reserved for men. The candidate's minimum age limit must be 18 years and the maximum 45 years on August 24, 2022.
According to the salary structure, 2016 of Palli Bidyut Samity, the salary scale is from Tk 16,600 to Tk 41,950. Besides, house rent, medical allowance, and other allowances will be given.
The applicant must have a valid driving license (smart card) issued by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority. Besides, five years' experience of driving vehicles at any government/semi-government/autonomous institution/large industry/commercial agency.
Position - Office Assistant
Two people - both male and female - can apply for this position. The candidate's maximum age limit must be 30 years on August 24, 2022, but the same is relaxable up to 32 years for the children of freedom fighters.
According to the salary structure, 2016 of Palli Bidyut Samity, the salary scale for this position is from Tk 15,500 to Tk 39,170. Besides, house rent, medical allowance, and other allowances will be given.
Candidate must be SSC or its equivalent exam pass. Apart from this, he will have to run bicycle.

Bagerhat, Barguna, Bogura, Chandpur, Chapainawabganj, Chuadanga, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Faridpur, Gaibandha, Gazipur, Habiganj, Gopalganj, Jashore, Jhinaidah, Khulna, Kushtia, Lalmonirhat, Manikganj, Moulvibazar, Munshiganj, Mymensingh, Naogaon, Narayanganj, Norsingdi, Natore, Pabna, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Potuakhali, Rajbari, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Satkhira, Shariatpur, Sherpur, Sirajganj, Sunamganj and Sylhet.
In the above-mentioned three positions, the applicant will primarily be appointed on probation for a year. If he/she properly performs duties, passes specific training organized by Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, and his/her annual work evaluation and police verification report are considered satisfactory to the authority concerned during this period, he/she can be regularized in the specific salary of this PBS's own salary structure.

- Certificates of all educational qualifications (mark sheet and testimonial are not applicable)
- Computer literacy certificate (in applicable case)
- Experience certificate (if any)
- Citizenship certificate issued by local union parishad/municipality/city corporation chairman/mayor/councilor
- Photocopy of national ID card
- character certificate issued by first class gazetted officer
- Attested photocopy of driving license and experience certificate

Eligible candidates will first download the specific application form from Cox's Bazar Palli Bidyut Samity website http://pbs.coxsbazar.gov.bd/ on an A-4 size paper and fill up it in their own hand.
Then, will attach a Pay-order/Bank Draft of Tk 100 made in favor of the general manager, Cox's Bazar Palli Bidyut Samity, with the application.
Finally, they will send the application to the general manager, Cox's Bazar Palli Bidyut Samity, Jhilangja, Cox's Bazar during office hours within August 24, 2022, by post or courier service.
